Safeguarding linguistic consistency in a live MOBA environment with biweekly releases
This project involves continuous linguistic QA and localization validation for a live-service MOBA with biweekly content updates. The game includes dynamic UI elements, evolving character skins, recurring in-game events, and strict access restrictions via IP whitelisting. The environment is fast-paced, documentation-heavy, and highly sensitive to terminology and tone consistency.
In live competitive games, inconsistency is immediately visible to players. Terminology drift or tone misalignment can undermine immersion and brand identity.
Operational Stabilization
To integrate the team effectively into an already complex workflow, internal alignment and structured understanding of the existing documentation were established. Clear internal criteria were defined to ensure consistent execution across biweekly cycles.
Infrastructure Adaptation
Due to IP whitelisting restrictions and frequent IP changes, a fixed-IP secure access tunnel was implemented using a cloud-based droplet. This eliminated repeated access interruptions and reduced delays caused by timezone differences.
